Strictly no dancing?
A recent story on the BBC highlighted that Dr Peter Lovatt, a psychologist at the University of Hertfordshire, is asking men to classify their dancing style as part of his research into whether there is a connection between how men dance, how attractive women find them.
This makes interesting reading for me personally, as my hubby to be has, let's just say a very ‘unique' dance style, and I'm contemplating how the first dance at our wedding is going to pan out. Always sure to draw a crowd when he hits the dance floor, his legs seem to be doing their own thing (I pity the person who is within a meter of that stray leg) and as for the top half of his body... well I think that's listening to completely different track entirely! Now if I had the coordination of a two year old trying to master roller-skates before they've even learnt to walk I'd probably avoid venturing onto the dance floor.
With the ever popular ‘Strictly Come Dancing' craze sweeping the nation, dancing itself has become incredibly popular over the last few years. In fact, we've even launched a team sweepstake on this year's ‘strictly line-up' my money is on Lisa Snowdon.
I'll be interested in seeing the results of this research and to see if any tips from Len Goodman have paid off for the male population that are regularly hitting the dance floors of our pubs and clubs - watch this space...
