Chris Hewitt is CEO and founder of Berkeley Communications Group that comprises two leading PR brands, Ascent PR and Berkeley PR. With a background in journalism, Chris set up the business as he found that most PR content in circulation is the exact opposite of what editors really want. And the rest they say, is history.
Sara Lewis

Sara moved to the South West six years ago, with family and laptop in tow – and a huge mission for Ascent PR: to establish the most tenacious PR agency in the South West. Today, with an established client base and growing team, Sara has a firm foothold on the region, bringing with her extensive experience from over 20 years in industry. Having firsthand experience of growing a business, Sara truly understands the pressures of business leaders and how PR can help them prosper.
Richard Gloster
Director, Ascent PR
Richard offers 20 years of career experience covering client servicing, business development, marketing & comms roles. He worked client-side for 10 years with global city-firms before completing an MBA at Cass Business School and moving into B2B marketing consultancy and agency work for SMEs. He leads the London business and focuses on technology, professional services, people development, travel & leisure sectors. Richard’s strength is developing specific PR & marketing solutions based on sound business insight.
